send("#") in windows 8

I can do send("#r") and it brings up the run command.

But I want send("#") to bring up the metro interface. It seems to do nothing.

Really I would like to put a au3 into the startup or have a registry key in the run folder that points to the au3. I'd like it to send("#d") so that once the computer logs in, it bypasses metro directly to the desktop.
