batch imagesearch?

hey guys,

I'm not sure if i've worded the title properly, but I'm hoping I could get some help as I'm not sure the solutions proposed on the forms are what I'm looking for.


so what i want to do:

I have several hundred .BMP files, but i only need a few with a recurring image in them, so i'd like to use imagesearch to check each individual file to see if it matches. this way i dont have to go through every single one to find only the ones im looking for.

the main thing thing i'm looking for is that ability to do this without opening the images themselves, again I'm not sure if this is possible within imagesearch but im hoping someone could at least point me in the right direction.

i know there is the search for a BMP inside a BMP, but i believe that opens the files to do it
