Hidden GUI Event or Sendmessage

Hello,

Is it possible to send a message to a hidden GUI to perform an action. For example, to simulate clicking "Next" -> "Next" -> "Done" on one of it's controls. This of course would probably make no sense I'm sure. But I'd like to create an "Event" so the application performs it's action even if the GUI is not present.
