"expand" & "popup" buttons on the top of code area inside forums are gone

the buttons "expand" and "popup" that are normally present  on top of the area of the code in the "posts" of the forum, are gone.

if I copy the script from inside the "code" area and then I paste it in the scite editor, all the "carriage returns" are lost, and the whole list is on one single line.

please, how can I make them reappear?
