checksum

Hi, I need help.
I need to verify the upgrade of a file put on a website, compared to the same file that is located on a PC of a user.
Not being able to verify the date of the file, because when you save the file the date changes, I thought to use the checksum.
I know indicate a procedure or UDF to calculate the checksum of a file.
